CPR & First Aid trainings must be renewed as required:
CPR - before expiration date (expires every 2 years)
First Aid - before expiration date (expires every 3 years)
CPR and First Aid training do not count towards the 10-hour annual training requirement.
All CCLC and FCCLH staff with direct care responsibilities must complete 10 State-approved hours of Health & Safety Orientation training plus CPR & First aid training (if not currently certified), within the first 90 days of employment.
Effective October 1, 2019, there must always be a staff person present in the CCLC or FCCLH with the children that holds a valid and current certification in CPR and First Aid.
CCLC= CHILD CARE LICENSED CENTER
FCCLH= FAMILY CHILD CARE LICENSED HOME
